I think of having a baby as like working really hard for a degree or certification. This is just a place to ask if people regret having babies who have yet to grow into children and many people here are still struggling sleep deprived. I feel like r/parenting is a better place to get opinions on whether people regret having children or not. But I also think having a baby is really hard, especially a newborn, and if newborns never grew up I'd be childfree. I defiantly think it's worth it to have children. And that it gets easier and more fun to have a child as grow both more independent and more capable to engage with you like a friend and have real conversations. I also feel like babies are less fun and interesting then toddlers who are less fun and interesting then my five year old.
